Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between quartz and granite?

In terms of countertop products granite is a natural stone slab and a quartz stone countertop is an engineered product, 95% quartz stone and 5% resin. Granite is easily shattered and almost imposible to repair, easily stained and requires constant maintenance. Quartz countertops are virtualy maintenance free, requires no sealing or harsh chemicals since it has no porous surface and no toxic emisions such as radon.

Can I cut on my quartz countertop?

While your Diluusso Stone quartz countertop is scratch resistant, we do not recommend cutting food directly on your countertop mainly to avoid your cutting knives becoming blunt. Always use a cutting board.

How do I clean my countertop?

We recommend the use of warm water and light dish soap. Abrasive or acidic household cleaners should not be used. Any spills should be wiped up as soon as possible. See the Care and Maintenance section.

Is Dilusso Stone stain-resistant?

Dilusso Stone countertops are stain-resistant since its surfaces are nonporous, stains can’t penetrate the surface unlike natural stone. Easy to clean, virtualy maintenance free and never require sealing.
